The question that leaps to mind, for me, is this: what sort of action are you calling for, in the end? If history turns like a big wheel, with the struggles getting more and more cataclysmic -- and I'm not saying that's wrong, although I'm more cautiously hopeful than you are -- then aren't we talking about something beyond human agency? And therefore, what good will it do to keep the reality of evil in our hearts and to stay on guard against it?

Or do you think that, somehow, we can interrupt these big cycles and stop the wheel from turning again? And if you think that's possible, why aren't you more optimistic that we'll do it?Charles Foster Kanenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7008813786806083758.post-15860096049257770802009-09-28T14:21:10.290-07:002009-09-28T14:21:10.290-07:00Bible Prophecy,

In the Vulgate it reads: "Nam mysterium jam operatur iniquitatis: tantum ut qui tenet nunc, teneat, donec de medio fiat." "Restrain" is a better translation for 'tenere" than 'let'.Hectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17676223082151271106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7008813786806083758.post-55752377430088341022009-09-27T14:42:15.541-07:002009-09-27T14:42:15.541-07:00The term “restrainer” is not found in the King Jam...The term “restrainer” is not found in the King James (Authorized) Version of the Holy Bible.

The church of God (1 Cor.10:32), Jesus’ living body (Col.1:24) will fall away from deception first (2 Thess.2:3-4, Eph.4:14) before the son of perdition (Re.11:7, Re.17:8, Re.17:11) is revealed.

Note 2 Thessalonians 2:6: "in his time". The son of perdition will be revealed “in his time”. His time will occur when he ascends from the bottomless pit after the bottomless pit has been opened. The bottomless pit will be opened at the Fifth Trumpet, the First Woe (Re.9:1-2). Until the son of perdition ascends from the pit (Re.11:7, Re.17:8, Re.17:11, Jn.17:12) it is not "his time".

Patricia (© 2008) Bible Prophecy on the Web
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BibleProphecyBible Prophecy on the Webhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03541821479915378677noreply@blogger.com
